Light and Lightness!
I have a topic of light and lightness to create onyx products for an exhibition which would be taking place in around six months. There would be a play going on during the exhibition, and the installations and products that the designers have made would be part of the play (stage set up).
I have decided to make a series of lamps and T Lights. I am taking the word light for what it is, therefore lamps, T Lights and floor lamps. I am interpreting the lightness as lightening. Lightening in the sky, before a storm or rain.
I want to creat the lightening sort of affect with my lamps on thier surrounding enviroment. How the light of the floor lamp, for example, reaches it's surroundings shall have the lightening in the sky type of affect. I have been working on a few initial prototype and think I am off to a good start.
